The Alliance Forum Foundation and BRAC Development Institute are now accepting applications for the spring course of "Financial Services for the Poor," which will be held in Bangladesh from February 3 - 17, 2012. This introductory level course is geared toward those with little or no knowledge of microfinance and is intended to provide a broad global picture of the state of microfinance, its challenges and future. The course, which will be taught by leading practitioners and academics in microfinance, will use the experience of Bangladesh as a case study and include extensive field visits. The deadline to apply for the program is October 31, 2011.
