WhatIDidNotBuy.org is BRAC’s new approach to giving this holiday season. We are shifting the focus from superfluous items in the back of our closets to ending the cycle of poverty in the poorest communities in the world.
WhatIDidNotBuy.org was launched last week, and already close to 500 people have pledged not to buy various items ranging from Apple Ipods to Ugg Shoes.
We are excited that the New York Times featured WhatIDidNotBuy.org in this weekend's edition, highlighting the website and its attempt to redirect money towards the world’s neediest.
